About Me:

As Firm Administrator, Polly oversees the administration and operations of the firm. Polly joined JGD in 2024 and has more than 15 years of experience working in similar roles at local CPA firms.

Polly graduated from Ohio University, Athens, with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with minors in business, marketing, and English. She entered the CPA Administration field after a successful print media career in San Diego, Chicago, and the Midwest. Polly is a member of the CPA Firm Management Association and the Cal Society of CPAs and is the former Chairman of the Firm Administrator’s Forum. She has been a dedicated school and church volunteer and is a former Girl Scout Leader and Service Unit Board Member, who continues to support the Girl Scouts of America through her granddaughter’s Troop in San Marcos.

She lives in Rancho Bernardo with her husband, Roger. They have two adult children and two grandchildren. She cherishes spending time with her family, is a culinary enthusiast in and out of the kitchen, enjoys experiencing new cultures when she travels, is a fan of the arts and music, and is an avid learner.
